These new G-SHOCK MR-G timepieces have been debuted by Casio as a series of tough yet elegant accessories that put tactical style in the spotlight. The watch models include the MRGB2000BG-3A and MRGB2000RG-3A, which are both inspired by kurogane-iro; a deeply colored heated armor that maintains a blue-green hue that's reminiscent of samurai armor. The color and finish is achieved thanks to a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating applied to the titanium components on the watches.
The new G-SHOCK MR-G timepieces are both equipped with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone syncing, solar-powered movements, water resistance up to 200-meters and radio-controlled timekeeping. The watches are paired with a full titanium band for the MRGB2000BG-3A, while the MRGB2000RG-3A has a fluoro-rubber strap. The watches are available now and are priced at $3,300.
