The Goodfella's Light & Crispy Base Pizzas are Stone-Baked

The Goodfella's Light & Crispy Base pizzas are being launched by the Nomad Foods-owned brand as a range of options for consumers to try out this spring or summer.

The pizzas come in two flavors including Pepperoni and Margheritam which are both HFSS-compliant and feature under 600-calories as a more lifestyle-conscious option. The pizzas are being launched in the UK where shoppers can pick them up from Sainsbury's for £3.40 each. The pizzas boast crisp crusts and ample toppings to give them a full-flavor profile that's still lower in calories than alternatives on the market.

Marketing Manager Sam Dolan spoke on the new Goodfella's Light & Crispy Base pizzas saying, "Our research shows that shoppers are looking for more options when it comes to pizzas – but one thing they will not give up is great taste and overall enjoyment. Our new Light & Crispy base pizzas are an exciting step forward for the pizza category and will bolster our presence within the thin sector through true innovation."
