The Conceptual 'duo Phone' Rethinks the User Experience

The conceptual 'duo Phone' has been designed by Mechanical Pixel as a mobile device that rethinks the user experience by splitting the display into two screens. The smartphone thus features a 3.5-inch IPS LCD on the upper most section alongside a 5.2-inch E Ink panel below it, which reduce the amount of visual noise and also rework the interface. The device thus features a more mindful operating system that eliminates the many features that modern smartphones boast in favor of a more mindful approach to staying connected and/or entertained.

The conceptual 'duo Phone' subtly and not-so-subtly nudges the user away from endlessly scrolling on social media to help them view their device as a tool rather than a distraction.
