DoorDash and Wing Partnered for Drone Deliveries

DoorDash and Wing have announced a new partnership that will see the two brands working together to help expand delivery experiences into their next chapter.

The partnership will see residential drone deliveries taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina for customers to take advantage of when it comes to receiving premium food deliveries in a prompt manner. The announcement will see customers within a four-mile radius of The Arboretum Shopping Center in southern Charlotte able to order an array of meals from various establishments. The new delivery method is also being promoted with $1 bowls of mac and cheese from Panera Bread that can be delivered for limited time.

Head of DoorDash Labs Harrison Shih spoke on the DoorDash and Wing partnership saying, "Autonomous delivery will help shape the future of local logistics, and we’re proud to introduce drone delivery to Charlotte for the first time with Wing. What makes this launch special isn’t just the technology, it’s the experience. Whether it’s your favorite Panera sandwich, a savory snack from DashMart, or a local matcha latte on DoorDash, there’s something special about watching your order arrive by air in minutes.
