DoorDash and Waymo announced a new partnership that will launch an autonomous delivery service in Metro Phoenix, so that DoorDash consumers in the area may be matched with a fully autonomous Waymo vehicle for deliveries from participating merchants using DoorDash’s Autonomous Delivery Platform. This contact-free delivery experience aims to offer a convenient new way for customers to receive groceries and orders from favorite restaurants.
In addition to testing the new autonomous delivery service in Metro Phoenix and planning to launch broader commercial operations later this year, DoorDash and Waymo are introducing a limited-time Waymo promotion for DashPass members in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Phoenix. From now through the end of 2025, DashPass members in these three cities can get $10 off one Waymo ride per month.
