These Deli Kitchen Bakery Products Shake Up Traditional Offerings

These new Deli Kitchen bakery products are headed to the UK market to offer consumers a variety of ways to elevate their everyday cuisine in a simple, convenient and cost-effective way.

The products respond to increasing consumer calls for internationally inspired flavors including the Flame Baked Indian Spiced Naan and the Pinsa, which are each crafted with Indian and Italian cuisine in mind, respectively. The brand is also launching the Colombian Style Buns based on a traditional Arepa alongside Protein Crumpets to respond to calls for protein-pack products. Finally, the Rye and Cinnamon & Raisin Snack Breads boast low-calorie, high-fiber options for consumers to try out this summer.

Head of Brand, NPD & Innovation Tim Wittekind commented on the new Deli Kitchen bakery products saying, "The traditional bread aisle has long been ripe for a refresh. The old saying may make us think that sliced bread is the stronghold of the category but, in reality, there’s so much scope for growth by offering up the variety and inspiration that shoppers are hungry for."
