CVS Pharmacy Senior Days Offer Quick and Easy Flu Shots

The CVS Pharmacy Senior Days are being hosted by the brand to offer consumers 55 years old and older with easier access to their annual flu shot. The event will take place every Thursday in September at 20 CVS HealthHUB locations in the Tampa, Florida area and will see patients greeted by the pharmacy staff who will provide educational literature for them to read. Seniors will receive their vaccination from a dedicated immunizer who can also provide vaccines for pneumonia, shingles and COVID-19.

The CVS Pharmacy Senior Days are expected to expedite senior access to vaccinations and eliminate the need for them to book ahead of their visit. The initiative is being run ahead of the fall flu season as per CDC recommendations to get a flu shot no later than the end of October.
