The Baked by Melissa x Sunchips cupcake collection has been created in collaboration between the brands as a series of limited time offerings that capture the flavor of the namesake snack product in a new way.

The baked goods feature a bite-sized cupcake format that feature the flavor of Frito-Lay's Sunchips in every bite to give them a sweet and salty taste profile. The cupcakes com in three varieties including Honey BBQ that's inspired by Sunchips Honey BBQ, Harvest Cheddar inspired by Sunchips Harvest Cheddar and Garden Salsa inspired by Sunchips Garden Salsa.

Co-Founder and CEO of Baked by Melissa Melissa Ben-Ishay spoke on the Baked by Melissa x Sunchips cupcake collection saying, "Growing up, SunChips were always one of my favorite snacks—the iconic wave shape and the classic Harvest Cheddar and Garden Salsa flavors were staples for so many of us who grew up in the ’90s. When I’m creating cupcake flavors for Baked by Melissa, I always draw inspiration from nostalgic desserts and childhood memories, so partnering with SunChips was a natural fit. It was so much fun to bring those flavors to life in cupcake form—along with the new Honey BBQ flavor."
