For a limited time, and only with select Starbucks Rewards loyalty members in the United States, Starbucks is trialing a new rewards perk called Coffee Loop. The program gives customers one free hot-brewed coffee or one free iced coffee for every nine they buy, much like a punch card at a local coffee shop. Naturally, there are some exclusions, and some menu items like Nitro Cold Brews, Cold Brews and refills do not count toward the "buy nine, get one free" rule.
Invited Starbucks Rewards members who opt-in to participate in Coffee Loop will earn a "dot" with each qualifying purchase of a hot or iced coffee at participating shops, and once all the dots have been connected, they can claim a coupon for a free hot-brewed or iced coffee of any size.
