Boots on-demand deliveries have been expanded by the retailer in time for the festive season to provide consumers with a way to easily access last-minute gifts and essentials in the UK. The expansion will see 500 Boots locations offering deliveries in as little as 30-minutes right to your door, which comes in response to the thousands of orders that were placed last year on Christmas Eve by consumers. This comes on the heels of research that revealed around one in two consumers in the UK leave their holiday shopping to the last minute.
Chief Data and Digital Officer Paula Bobbett spoke on the Boots on-demand deliveries saying, "We all know Christmas is a busy time, so we want to make it even easier for our customers who find themselves shopping right up to the last moment. Boots on-demand can help change that final dash into an easy delivery. At Boots, we’re here to make shopping feel joyful, not stressful, helping shoppers find thoughtful gifts quickly and easily, even if they’ve missed online order cut-offs or store opening hours."
