Boots Partners with Deliveroo in a New On-Demand Delivery Pilot

UK's largest drugstore chain, Boots, announced its partnership with Deliveroo in a new on-demand delivery service.

This pilot program will first launch in 14 Boots stores across the UK, including Birmingham, London, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Liverpool, and Leeds stores. This new service lets customers browse through an expansive range of cosmetics, household products, and snacks and deliver them to their door in as little as 20 minutes. The company saw a huge rise in e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to this shift away from in-store shopping, the company has decided to offer a new form of convenient, contactless shopping.

The company hopes to expand this new service to more stores if its pilot launch proves successful.
