Honda Unveils the 3rd Generation Autonomous Robot

Honda unveils a look at the 3rd generation iteration of its Autonomous Work Vehicle as it is now able to transport up to two palettes of goods. Moving throughout the worksites without any help from humans is the basis of its design and now, the brand aims to find other companies that are willing to try the technology. The vehicle can operate on its own or via a remote control.

Jason VanBuren, the Honda Motor systems engineering manager notes that "We want to meet with potential business partners and companies at CONEXPO that are interested in field testing the vehicle at their worksite. We believe the Honda AWV can be a valuable solution to supporting construction teams while also enhancing worksite efficiencies and safety."
