Gigabyte Unveiled its Flagship Aorus GeForce RTX 4090 Master GPU

Shortly after NVIDIA unveiled the RTX 4090 graphics processing unit (GPU), Gigabyte released the details of its upcoming flagship GPU, the 'Aorus GeForce RTX 4090 Master.' This is a massive four-slot-wide card with three 102mm RGB fans. The card measures in at 358 x 162 x 75 mm, making it the largest GPU to reach the consumer market to date. In order to compensate for the size and weight of the card, Gigabyte is shipping an 'Anti-Sag Bracket' with the device to support the weight and prevent damage to the PCI-E motherboard slot.

The Aorus 3090 requires four 6+2 power adapters, meaning the GPU can hypothetically pull up to 600W from the PCI-E connector and 75W from the motherboard. As a result of this, Gigabyte recommends a minimum 1,000W power supply to operate this card safely. The card, though, boasts 16,384 CUDA cores and 24GB of GDDR6 memory, meaning it will run incredibly quickly in games, video editing, and rendering. Gigabyte has not yet revealed the clock speed or price of the card.
