Vintage Electric Launched the 72-Volt Line of Electric Bikes

'Vintage Electric,' the San Francisco-based electric bicycle manufacturer, launched the 72-Vole E-Bikes collection. The collection includes three bikes, the 'Roadster,' the 'Scrambler,' and the 'Shelby.'

Each of the three bikes boast the same performance specifications, however, they differ in size and design. The bikes have a 4000-watt motor that delivers a top speed of 40 mph for a maximum range of 75 miles. It is important to note that the range will be reduced based on the level of pedal assistance required by the rider.

The battery on these bikes is a 1,123 watt-hour, 72-volt Lithium Ion Li-NMC battery that lasts approximately 1,000 charges, or between three and five years. The Roadster and the Scrambler retail for $6,995 USD, while the Shelby costs $7,249.
