It’s hard to believe that four years after gold made its way into fashion, it’s still considered stylish to dress like a Christmas ornament. Just look at the gold shorts in the gallery! Fortunately they’re suggested to be worn with black tights, but I can’t imagine these being justifiable anywhere but the family Christmas party (certainly not where the public might see.)
This slideshow highlights a few other ways in which designers are bringing sequins into fashion. It’s a bit too disco for my liking, and even if that makes me conservative, I refuse to wiggle my fanny into anything like sparkling hot pants.
