Flowers are one of the biggest fashion themes this spring, although I can't help but think of the line from the Devil Wears Prada when Meryl Streep sarcastically hisses, "Florals? For Spring? How original."

Although not original, they are timeless. Designer Alexis Mabille brought up a good point when interviewed about his spring couture collection: "Times are hard, but we mustn't let darkness rule; we need flowers."
