An Amelia Earhart biopic is being released today, starring Hilary Swank and Richard Gere. I have to admit, embarrassingly, that it was only this year that I truly became familiar with her name. I remember that day vividly, an eight-hour-long flight from London and ‘Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian’ was playing.
