Nancy Pelosi's Rick Roll + Senate and House Launch Own Channels

This video shows that House speaker Nancy Pelosi has a sense of humor; what first appears to be a video of her cats ends up being a viral gag to “Rick Roll” her viewers.

President-elect Obama has already changed the face of politics in so many ways. Not the least of which is his embrace of YouTube.com to post regular messages without the normal “filters” of broadcast or cable television pundits or reporters.

Now the Senate and the House of Representatives are band-wagoning by launching their own channels where Senators and Representatives can post their videos. It’s the normal boring stuff, using prompters and great lighting and all that. And I guess YouTube.com has the exclusive over other video hosting services, but hopefully some staffer will figure out that once you have video, it can be uploaded easily all over the web.
