'You Are What You Eat at Work' Shows Foods for Optimal Work Performance

It's no shocker that the food we intake fuels our bodies, but the 'You Are What You Eat at Work' infographic from Target Logistics hones in on how certain dietary choices play a role in one's work performance.

Overall, it was found that eating healthy leads a higher job performance and less absences from work. Some of the best things to eat include salmon, primarily for the brain-boosing Omega-3 fatty acids, roasted red potatoes for fiber, complex carbohydrates and vitamins, plus glazed carrots, which are known to lower cholesterol and the risk of heart disease.

In line with this research, several companies have started investing in the health and wellness of its employees, since it means a healthy, happy workforce and jobs that are performed well.
