The Yamaha BODiBEAT’s sensor measures your pulse and selects music to match it or choose Fitness mode (one of four preset modes) and it will guide you through a musical workout up to aerobic to a cool-down. The 512 MB device also lets you manage your musical workouts using your PC and the web.
Using an acceleration sensor and an ear clip pulse monitor, the BODiBEAT observes your workout and changes your song to match your running pace. Don't like your tunes? It comes loaded with several beat tracks that will automatically remix themselves and adjust their tempo to keep you guessing. $299 is a steep price for a small device, but if you're a serious runner it could pay off in the long haul
