These WWF Ads Raise Awareness About the Homes of Endangered Species

By: Misel Saban - Published: • References: worldwildlife.org & adsoftheworld
If you're an avid spokesperson for the protection of wildlife, these colorfully illustrative ads by WWF advocate for the preservation of the homes of several iconic endangered species.

These WWF ads tactfully raise awareness about the lives of endangered species by calling attention to the destruction of their habitats. Illustrator Raúl Gomez Estudio designed these habitat ads to have a technicolor corrugated style that personifies the sadness of several famous endangered species as their homes are slowly destroyed by man-made constructions. For example, one of the ads depicts a polar bear that cleverly blends in to a melting iceberg. The caption, "if the ice melts away, life melts away" intelligently calls attention to the fact that if the habitats of polar bears continues to melt away due to global warming, the polar bear species will quickly become extinct.
