This time, “shake a tailfeather” actually involves tailfeathers. Anyone who saw the viral video of Snowball the cockatoo dancing to the Backstreet Boys is well aware that some birds can definitely bust a move. The Bird Channel and Bird Talk Magazine have decided to take it a step further and find some of the country’s best feathered dancers.
The competition is intense. Hundreds of birds around the country are competing, but the field has been narrowed down to just 12 dancers. Only one will take home the title of “Top Bird Dancer”.
