The new Bird Buddy Smart Feeder is designed with artificial intelligence technology to notify users when there are bird visitors, take photos of them, and organize them all in a collection to share. There are currently 65,000 feeders in 113 countries and over 100 million photos and videos have been taken, capturing 472 species.
The bird feeder gives control to users in terms of its built-in camera that is connected to any smartphone. It provides five-megapixel photos as well as live-stream video in 720p HD. The aforementioned built-in camera uses AI to quickly recognize over a thousand species of birds, including the rare ones as well. Every time a bird lands on the feeder, the camera snaps a photograph and sends a notification.
