A lot of designs that incorporate wood try to totally replace another material such as steel or plastic. This bike design by Arndt Menke, however, uses the organic stuff in only a few key locations.

The Holzweg Wooden Bike frame actually uses ash wood to help dampen the thumps and bumps that biking can sometimes bring. Check out some other innovative wood creations below.
