Frame Cycle Debuts a Sustainable and Comfortable Bike Seat Alternative

A functional cork bicycle seat is now a reality as Frame Cycle designed it. The Scottish brand focused on developing sustainable bike parts alternatives that will not lose on performance and comfort. The FR-1 Bike Saddle is one such product. The cork saddle is molded in Portugal which means that Frame Cycle is "supporting both sustainable and historic local cork farming."
The cork bicycle seat is actually quite comfortable, lightweight, water-resistant, and sturdy. The material is also known to offer "better cushioning compared to other materials." Frame Cycle used stamped titanium shells and grade-five titanium rails for the substructure of the seat which also contributes to the lightweight design.
The cork bicycle seat is currently retailing for $120.
