The wireless lamps, which are meant to be placed inside a wine glass, use lithium ion batteries which will provide that sensuous glow you seek for up to seven hours.

“BettyLou is engineered for optimum light output by a lens and reflector creating a lovely environment,” the company says.

After taking about two years to perfect, the design is set to launch at New York’s 2008 ICFF.
