Microsoft is Remodeling the Windows 11 Task Manager

Microsoft has been steadily updating its newest operating system since its debut, and now it is overhauling the Windows 11 Task Manager. The Task Manager has had the same technical layout and visual design for nearly a decade, as the last update to this feature was during the era of Windows 8.
The updated Task Manager will fit in more with the modern design of Windows 11, adopting a black background and higher-quality textures similar to the updated taskbar and volume bar.
The technical layout of the Task Manager is also being redesigned to make it more user-friendly and organized. Previously, the Task Manager had tabs across the top of the window with items listed down the side on the left. Now, bringing the Task Manager in line with the layout of the Windows 11 Settings application, the Task Manager will feature tabs on the left with more information displayed on the right-hand side and top of the window. This makes it easier to view critical information on the Task Manager without needing to waste time searching for the feature you desire.
