An Upcoming Microsoft Edge Update Allows for Dual-Browser Tabs

Microsoft showcased an upcoming Microsoft Edge update that allows users to split a single browser window into multiple viewable tabs. While the browser previously allowed for regular tab functionality with minimal limitations, the new update enables users to display two tabs simultaneously on the left and right half of a single Edge window.
This feature also works seamlessly with existing tab features, such as grouping, pinning, duplicating, and more. Essentially, this new update gives single-screen setups functionality that rivals dual-screen setups for productivity without requiring that two web browsers be opened simultaneously, as this can be very taxing on the RAM of older systems.
The company has yet to confirm a release date for the feature, but it will be available in an update soon. Additionally, Microsoft confirmed that it is working on a version of this feature for macOS and Linux.
