The Raging Pig Company, a Hamburg, Germany-based company that specializes in meatless and plant-based food products, has launched a fully plant-based version of the iconic Bavarian white sausage that is set to be widely devoured during Oktoberfest.
The 'Raging Weisswurst' is a uniquely formulated vegan Bavarian white sausage that happens to be made with meat-free ingredients such as mushrooms and peas.
While the festive launch of this vegan version of the Weisswurst white sausage is sure to be well-received, what's all the more encouraging is the fact that the Raging Pig Company says this product is set to be eventually followed by further innovative plant-based foods that make use of unique ingredients such as plant-based fat alternatives and mycelium.
