This artfully whimsical interior design for the third location of taqueria bistro Fonda by Melbourne-based architectural and design studio Techne Architects is visually aesthetic.

Taking after the meaning of the word Fonda -- which means home kitchen -- for inspiration, the design team does a beautiful job giving the space an authentic Mexican casa style.

"The front area was imagined as a terrace or balcony," says the design team, "the central space as the house interior and the rear as the backyard."

The playfully whimsical interior design is filled with bright pops of color and vibrant designs, which include stripes and outdoor-like seating styles. Using vivid and fun colors like pink, blue and yellow as the core palette for the walls, the space has an uber cool abstract geometric seascapes look to it.
