Ever wondered what it was like on a mission to the moon? Website “Let’s go to the moon” celebrates the Apollo 11 lunar landing 40th anniversary. This interactive website will guide you through the most realistic mission to the moon you will ever experience from the comfort of your own sofa. With “Let’s go to the moon” you actually get the chance to see and hear what the astronauts experienced and a lot more. We get to see actual pictures from various stages of the journey from launch to landing and in between. You get to hear live recordings from Neil Armstrong, fellow astronauts, mission command and the US President. Approaching the landing, I actually felt like I was on a mission to the moon and when Neil Armstrong said those famous words, “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind,” my heart was pounding.
