Volvo introduced a new system that can prevent your family from an accident. The City Safety system has a laser sensor which can spot vehicles in front that are too close or could cause a collision by stopping suddenly.

When the system works, the car will come to a halt by itself in order to avoid a crash and it will disable the accelerator. This system works at the speed up to 20mph and it is designed for urban driving.
The system will be standard in the XC60 car, priced from £25,000.
