Chanel uses clever marketing to launch its first ever volumizing mascara. The fashion giant will be placing vending machines filled with the new line of mascara in the U.K. at Selfridges on Oxford Street from April 25th to May 8th, 2013. The reason for the placement of these machines is to differentiate the brand from all of the competition, this will definitely create a massive amount of publicity for Chanel and its new product.
When it comes to the product itself, there is a new patented technology Chanel has named 'Snowflakes,' which consists of stacked discs designed to coat, lengthen and separate lashes in combination with their quick-drying formula. The new volumizing mascara will be available in three different shades including Noir, Prune and Bleu.
Chanel is already a massive international fashion mogul, and this clever display of creative marketing shows why. The brand has always been incredible, but they also know how to keep things fresh and interesting for consumers.
