Recycled bags have gone from being being popular among the artsy and eco crowds to being high-end fashion must-haves. Instead of being made of old sails or vintage clothing, English Retreads makes their bags from post-consumer recycled truck inner-tubes, giving them a fun, yet eco, faux leather aesthetic. Inside, they are and lined with recycled plastic PET bottles, each style available in a choice of interior colors. They could just be the next big thing among celebrities too—they were chosen for the Critic’s Choice Awards gift bag. If they do take off in Hollywood, it’s going to get difficult to get your manicured paws on them.
