Targus Unveiled its 'Coastline EcoSmart' Collection at CES 2024

Targus, one of the pioneers in the laptop case industry, unveiled its latest laptop briefcase and backpack as part of its 'Coastline EcoSmart' collection. This collection currently includes two products made out of upcycled and recycled ocean-bound plastics, which is where the 'Coastline' name comes from.
The Coastline EcoSmart Backpack features a durable outer fabric layer, a 'SafePort' sling protection system from Targus that keeps laptops safe and protected, as well as a dedicated laptop pocket inside the backpack. This pocket fits up to 16" laptops. Aside from this, the backpack is equipped with two water bottle pockets and a total capacity of 22L.
The briefcase on the other hand is more compact and focused on carrying laptops. With a pocket large enough to fit a 16" laptop, this briefcase ensures the safety of the device in part due to the same SafePort sling protection system, but also due to its generous padding and comfortably-padded shoulder strap. The Coastline EcoSmart Briefcase also features an accessory pocket on the front with enough space to house things such as chargers, mice, and small notebooks.
The briefcase retails for $69.99 while the backpack is priced at $89.99. However, both products are not yet available on Targus' website.
