Tired of all those exquisite rooms and decor you’re used to seeing here? Well look no further! The Ugliest Couch contest is well underway at Surefit Slip Covers.

The spectacular entrants have been whittled down to mere 20 finalists, with the winner being announced November 15. The grand prize is $5000 to be used towards a living room makeover.

So, if you didn’t get to enter this year, at least vote for your fav online at http://www.surefit.net/uglycouch2008/.    

My two favorites are the first two pictures seen here. Honestly, I have actually seen worse specimens than these here, but maybe some folk were just too lazy or embarrassed to submit theirs.

Anyway, great idea.

Honestly, I think the second and fourth ones in the first column are the worst. I hate floral patterns, and those colors are disgustingly loud. They remind me of my grandmother's, and I think she still has hers! Grandma could've entered this! I'll put my vote in.
