These days, when something sells, it’s usually because there is a vampire on it, associated with it, or in it (incredible, but possible). So, it isn’t too surprising that Nordstrom plans to release a 'Twilight'-inspired line of clothing in mid-October – about one month before the sequel, Twilight Saga: New Moon, is scheduled to hit theaters.
Admittedly, while the 'Twilight' propaganda is getting old, these upcoming styles seem to be less about having teens sell the movie and more about giving fan girls items that let them have fun with the film and its characters. Take, for instance, the cutesy printed hearts tee ($32) with "Team Edward" on it. Other items in the line include tank tops, a Cullen family charm necklace and a plaid jacket.
If the words 'Twilight' or 'New Moon' are used sparingly (read: only on the labels) I might be convinced--might.
