Hurray for more green fashion and recycled wearable art, this time from London-based WalterWorks. These pieces are from Belgium-born Walter Raes. I am particularly fond of these designs as it is really easy to identify what they are made from, be it mops, rubber gloves or cassette tapes. This aspect of simple identification does take away from the practical wearability of the items, however. I am not sure that I would be massively into going out covered in scrubbers!  After living in the UK, he observed, "I think that what is thrown away in London and around the world is criminal; it's from these consumer society throw-outs, that I make my designs."
