Getting frequently stopped by traffic light systems on the road can be a real nuisance to drivers, but a new app gives drivers an estimate of how long a wait they will be in for.
Through the EnLighten app developed by Connected Signals, drivers in participating cities will have the chance to get a prediction on how long it is before the light goes from red to green. Although the app doesn't help any with speeding up slow traffic light systems, it does give drivers additional peace of mind with a countdown to watch.
New BMW models are set to include this technology as part of the dashboard console displays, making it a feature that will be easily accessible through BMW apps.
