From the very beginning, it was evident that Lewis Carrol’s tales of Alice in Wonderland were uniquely enchanting. His original drawings were so very magical, it is no wonder Disney jumped on the wonderland wagon and decided to remake the classic children’s story into a cartoon.

Most recently, Tim Burton has made his own highly anticipated version of Alice in Wonderland in live action form. Take a look at the gallery above to see how Alice, The Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum’s looks have all evolved over the years.
