The talking ring has a 20-second recorded message etched onto its surface. The message is Jerram's proposal and so his fiancée could hear it, he also created a miniature record player.
The silver ring was etched with a vibrating diamond stylus in the spirit of Thomas Edison. As nerdy love goes, the talking ring is high on the list.
