Krispy Kreme Japan's 'Sweet America' Donuts Celebrate All-American Confections

'Sweet America' is the name of a new limited-edition donut collection from Krispy Kreme in Japan that celebrates popular American candies.

The three donuts in the collection—Sweet America Hershey, Sweet America M&M's and Sweet America Oreo—are all topped with the corresponding cookie and chocolate bits that match its name. While the donut bases are all slightly different to suit each candy-coated topping, it is noted that the flavors of the donuts as a whole are subdued enough for adult tastes.

As well as being able to purchase each indulgent Sweet America donut on its own, consumers in Japan may also opt for the America Dozen, which provides a sampling of the new trio alongside the brand's original glazed donuts and another chocolate-topped variety that is coated in colorful candy sprinkles.
