The Summer Solstice in Times Square calls all yogis to gather and celebrate the welcoming of the summer season.

The event held by Mind Over Madness Yoga started with Nicole Nichols (Narayani), who led off between 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., Patrick Lynch held his yoga class. To finish off the day, the Summer Solstice in Times Square had Douglass Stewart led the final class of the day, which took place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The event was the perfect way to bring in the season on the longest day of the year. Yoga practitioners and students worldwide were able to watch the event via webcast, making sure everyone could participate in saluting the morning sun. Stats for Sun Salutation Events Trending: Older & Chilly
