The popular Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo recently opened a flagship store that gives consumers a new way to experience its products. With the growing demand for Korean beauty products both locally and abroad, brands are increasingly looking for creative ways to introduce consumers to new products. This flagship store features six different levels to help consumers discover and interact with Sulwhasoo's full range of products.
Previously only located in department stores, the Sulwhasoo flagship gives consumers a whole new way to engage with the brand. The store is six storeys high and it is the largest brand flagship in all of South Korea. The store itself is designed to function as "a new beacon of Asian beauty," with an exterior that resembles that of a lantern. On the inside, each floor has a different theme allowing guests to learn more about the brand as they browse for products. In addition to the boutique, the flagship also boasts a gift-wrapping area, a Culture Lounge, an in-store spa and a rooftop patio.
The massive flagship demonstrates the growing demand for Korean beauty products and the rise of interactive retail spaces.
