Sparrow Handbags is an eco-friendly and cruelty-free accessory line. Every handbag is made of 100% organic cotton or hemp. The company’s handbags are designed and manufactured in-house. 100% solvent-free water based or low-impact dye is used in the silkscreening process. A cotton/hemp black lining and organic cotton batting complement each bag. Recycled tetra boxes and handles are of stiff hemp webbing.
The Sparrow studio makes every effort to protect the environment and use the least harmful practices in manufacture as well as in the office portion of the business. The three-year-old company is one of many eco-conscientious businesses based in British Columbia, Canada.
