To help clean up some of the nasty graffiti-covered walls in Romania, Cif created a handy street cleaning app. The app could be used by anyone and it worked by getting people to snap photos of harmful graffiti and at the same time, crowdsource locations that needed cleaning.

Armed with over 300 geo-tagged spots in Romania that were in desperate need of cleaning, Cif sent out teams to clean up these nasty graffiti messages. Amazingly, the spots cleaned up quite well and the effort from Cif gained quite a bit of attention locally, since some of the messages written on the walls were things that should not be seen by kids. As well as doing some good for the city, this campaign is also a huge testament to the strength of Cif cleaning products. Stats for Crowdsourced City Cleanup Apps Trending: Older & Average
