Wound Magazine jumped on the artistic body paint wagon in “Statuesque,” a brilliantly-shot editorial by photographer Paolo Zambaldi.

However, rather than painting swimsuits or costumes, art director Laurent Dombrowicz had the female model painted like an old, naked statue.

Posing alongside the ‘human statue’ is top male model Chad White in a sharp black suit. He was styled by Wound Magazine fashion editor Matthiue Pabiot.

Chad White even stripped down to his birthday suit and posed next to a real statue, showcasing the relationship between human bodies and sculpted statues.
