Some very clever crafter has made this oh-so-cute R2D2 model with some very elaborate knitting. The little sci-fi robot looks desperate for a cuddle, I love it!

The knitted R2D2 inspired a deeper search for Star Wars knits, leading to the discovery of the pieces in this gallery which encompass a whole Star Wars crafting theme.

I really love the Princess Leia hat! The rest of the crafts are so clever and cute, so their appeal isn’t restricted to Star Wars geeks.
