Fossil has revealed its new watch collection made in collaboration with Stars Wars. The watch collection celebrates the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, the third film of the original Star Wars trilogy. There are a total of six exclusive timepieces and five special-edition watches. Each watch model honors the iconic main characters of the franchise while individually numbered and packaged in collector’s boxes.
Several standout items in the Star Wars watch collection regarding the exclusive timepieces are the R2D2 timepiece and the C-3PO timepiece. The R2D2 timepiece resembles the appearance of the robot character R2D2 on the dial, with its repair tool arm acting as the minute hand. As for the C-3PO timepiece, it also takes the appearance of the C-3PO on its square-shaped case and exposed automatic movement. There are comic book-style graphics of the robots behind the case as well. In terms of the special-edition watches, a standout item is the Darth Vader watch that comes with a comic book-style graphic on the dial.
