The Square Olive is a type of olive oil that was recently designed by Denis Carroll. Instead of going for something conventional in terms of the name, the branding designer wanted to create a memorable impression. As such, she went with the impossible: a square olive.
The name certainly makes one stop and think, considering it's something that no one has ever seen before (or will most likely ever see). It's this type of branding that can help elevate a company from the average product to a household name. For the logo, Carroll even went with a square shape to really accentuate the branding direction.
Hopefully the taste is as memorable as the packaging with this quirky design.
